NOPUG is looking for Vendors interested in showcasing their products or services to our User communityDo you want to put your services and/or products in front of one of the top 5 Pro/ENGINEER-Creo user groups in the country?  An organization that has been servicing the needs of Pro/E-Creo users in Northern Ohio for going on 25 years?  If the answer is yes, the Northern Ohio PTC Users Group (NOPUG) is the organization for you!  We have 3 meetings yearly (see schedule below).

Northern Ohio is home to many companies that could take advantage of the products and services you have to offer.  We know that many of your current and/or potential customers participate in these meetings (Moen, Steris, Rockwell Automation, Bendix, Automated Packaging, TTI Floorcare, Beckett, Bridgestone Firestone, Cleveland Clinic, NASA, Crane Aerospace, JBT Foodtech, Diebold, Eaton, Evenflo, G.E., GOJO, Goodyear, Graco, Hendrickson Trailer, Hobart, JLG, Keithley, Komatsu, Goodrich, Little Tikes, Luk USA, Marine Mechanical, Midmark, Parker Hannifin, Phillips Medical, PolyOne, Sauder Woodworking, Step 2, Timken, Vita-Mix, Whirlpool, just to name a few and many others).  They not only use Pro/E – Creo for their product development needs, they welcome the opportunity to support the local user community by hosting NOPUG meetings while encouraging users to interact with each other as well as with the vendors who participate in those meetings.

On Thursday November 16, 2017 NOPUG will be holding its fall user group meeting at Luk USA LLC in Wooster, OH.

The next NOPUG meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Luk USA in Wooster, OH.  Registration for the next meeting will be open in the near future!

The agenda is being finalized this week but will center around the following topics:

  • How PTC is used at Luk
  • Advantages of Creo 4.0 – comparison to Creo 3.0, SolidWorks, etc…
  • Highlights from LiveWorx 2017 and information regarding LiveWorx 2018

Meeting #77 – April 20, 2017:  Location – America Makes, Boardman, OH

Meeting #78- November 16, 2017:  Location – Luk USA

The newsletter is being finalized and will be sent out to the membership and our vendors and prospective vendors later today.  The link enabling registration for the April meeting has been activated.

Why should you participate?  Here’s some reasons that may interest you:

Vendor booth space costs $375 for a table top display area.  This is a low cost for the opportunity to get in front of a multitude of users as well as the representatives of the company hosting the meeting.

User/vendor presentations.  Vendors have the opportunity to get up and present to the attendees.  If the presentation is from a “user” perspective, refraining from using that time for a sales pitch, instead focusing on tips and tricks, etc…., a timeframe of approximately 20-25 minutes is available.  If the presentation is from the “vendor” perspective, focusing on your products and/or services, a 10-15 minute timeframe at the podium is available.  IMPORTANT NOTE:  Presentations of all kinds (user or vendor focus) are on a first come – first serve basis and must be reviewed by the NOPUG board for content.  As the number of presentations may be substantial, a whitepaper or Powerpoint document must be submitted a minimum of 3 weeks before the meeting.

Past NOPUG meetings have been very successful and with your support we can make future meetings even better.  You will have the opportunity to showcase your company to users representing 30 to 75 companies, have exposure to over 700 Pro/ENGINEER-Creo users in our group database, and have direct contact with PTC’s product managers and/or corporate officers.  A typical agenda is comprised of:

   – User presentations

      – PTC product manager, application engineer, and/or

             corporate officer presentations

      – Vendor presentations as described above

      – Vendor booth displays

Your organization will generate potential sales opportunities by attending and we will benefit by gaining knowledge of your products and services, at a cost to you of only $375 for the half day event.
